BIDMAN

Management and control of online tenders

Overview

BidMan is the response to the requirement of optimizing the procurement process for companies operating in the sector of industrial plant engineering, through the use of an IT solution that allows transactions relating to the procurement of goods to be conducted electronically, and clients and suppliers to be brought into direct contact.

The system runs in Microsoft Windows and is fully integrated with MS Office, thus permitting immediate import/export to and from Word and Excel. It is available in both Client-Server and Web-enabled versions, which allow the centralised project database to be simultaneously accessed by Clients, Contractors and Sub-Contractors, Partners, Construction sites, etc...

The system manages supplies, from the formulation of competitive tenders to the formalization of a communication of assignment of the tender itself.

It arises from the experience accrued by the many professional figures involved in the sectors of designing and manufacturing installations, whose expertise has permitted Computer Line Associates to develop sophisticated software solutions and to position itself in the international marketplace as the ideal partner for Engineering Procurement & Construction companies.

The application offers a complete series of tools that can integrate current communication technologies for the purposes of optimizing the relations between the system users and the suppliers.

The goal is to make the dealings between the contracting company and the various suppliers possible and efficacious. For this reason the application has been designed envisaging two distinct interfaces with displays that have, of course, been specially made:

  • The first Client side allows the total management of the procedure that follows every competitive tender (the publication, the organization of the supplies, the creation of projects, the management of the list of suppliers, etc.).
  • The second Supplier side was created by means of granting access to a dedicated website and through it, the contracting company offers bidders the opportunity to formulate their offer following the parameters and instructions present in the Bidding Documents.
