Puma5 interface for Smartplant 3D

Thursday, March 18th, 2010

some time ago we announced on our website that we have released the Puma5 interface for the Intergraph© SmartPlant 3D©, it was still a beta version for some of our customers to test, today we announce the availability of the product.

Some projects have already been developed by our custmers using our Puma5 interface and we think that is now ready and it will be a great benefit to all of our customers that are using or that will use SmartPlant 3D© in future.

The SmartPlant 3D© interface is simple and handy, the configuration is performed on an excel file and the components dimensions are handled through our already existing Dimensional catalogue module.

The configuration files are saved and used by the interface in XML format, this will give you a great advantage since you won’t have to worry about Excel licences on the server side, or crashes in the Excel engine while the process is running, the XML file uses the Microsoft XML file format.

Please feel free to contact us if you want to find our more.

SmartPlant 3D Interface Released

Tuesday, October 13th, 2009

We are pleased to announce that Computer Line Associates released the new Puma5 Interface for the Intergraph SmartPlant 3D modeler, just like our existing interfaces like PDS, PDMS, AutoPlant, etc.., Puma5 is now capable of producing Piping classes and dimensional catalogues for SP3D.

The real news about this brand new interface is that it doesn’t need Puma5 to work but it can be used as a standalone product, the configuration will require some more work though.

We will be pleased to hear from you and to answer any question you may have, please contact us for more detailed information about this product.
