Engineering Data Warehouse is the application that was created to meet the requirement of introducing a simple and effective solution into the company. It is aimed at the management and control of the integrity of the data and the workflows that concur in the complete definition of the Project Item characteristics.

The system makes sure the consistency of the data is kept constantly up to date, preventing their duplication and gathering them in a structured manner in datasheets defined by the same Engineering Company, in addition allowing the rapid and effective exchange of data between the users involved in the Project.

The application manages the progress of the data, which varies during the design phase. The information contained within the datasheets will be made available by means of the "operation type" chosen at the level of the individual Project; that is: after the effective issue of the document through revisions, or from current saved datasheets.

The data propagation "mode", which ensures the consistency of the information by means of the automatic management of its flow, envisages the setting of the desired alignment parameter at the project level:

• Propagation Mode = To All: updates all the datasheets that import the item directly or indirectly (direct or indirect children).
• Propagation Mode = To Child: updates only those datasheets that import the item directly (direct children).

Integration with the company messaging system means it is able to automatically generate notification e-mails aimed at the internal users of the process, promptly informing them of particular events that have occurred in the datasheets.
